How much demand is there for te71 & A60 Carina parts?

Postby crispy'86 » Thu Jun 03, 2010 7:54 am

Hey all i've got several suapension parts from both TE71 and AA60 carina and wonder whether it was worth advertising them on here or just scrap them. Have AA60 engine crossmember complete with lower suspension arms, sway bar links and front struts. Same for TE71 but not sure if i could use the lower arms myself or not, It's a bit hard to suss out if i can use some of the bits as my car is in storage at moment to swap bits over

There's a few differences between AA60 struts and AA63/TA63 ones with the vented discs... Which makes the AA60 stuff less desirable.

In saying this, I saw a pair on trademe sell for over $100 once, so who knows

Before chucking it all away, may as well put it on trademe...

Doesnt take much time/work, and you could be surprised at what you get.

In other news, who's got carina stuff for me to hoard 8)

Yeah. Don't scrap the aa60 crossmember and engine mounts (if you have them). I'd be interested in these parts if I can sort transport.

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

If you can put together an inventory of what TE71 stuff you have I could be keen on bits.

Hey, have you still got these AA60 parts? I've got an AA60 coupe that I'm slowly working through could have a use for any parts that you may have? Would you have any other AA60 parts etc?
What TE71 parts do you have also?
Cheers Neil

Hey there, yeah pity people didn't have a use for parts years ago when i had the shell and had just started removing stuff off it. Only the engine crossmember with lower arms, shocks etc which i'm debating if i can use them on my '86. Also same for TE71, same deal crossmember with lower arms and radius rods for a recirculating ball steering (steering box) arrangement. Might still have the gay rear muffler in all it's chrome cannon glory
