The same reason the amount of people with sticky throttles has increased 100 fold as soon as toyota has announced the problem.

Just look for '3s' at the start of your engine code to see if you're affected

Really, dubious dealings in American politics, Never! :lol:

Oh wait, yeah maybe considering the number of 'american' manufacturer recalls in the last few weeks.

I've also heard its a tactic to force Toyota to allow unionisation. Sort of perhaps if you do this for us, we might stop the number of media announcements on things.
