hey guys and gals. I sold these plates about 4 years ago before i moved to aussie. Now after buying the wagon back that i once sold im trying to get the plates back.
According to carjam they were on a libero but the rego expired a year ago. My question is how do you think i could buy them back or contact the owner?
I used to get messages from people saying they had seem the libero cruizing around auckland

so i'm assuming you went through the correct process of transferring ownership of the plate itself with the plate registry? or were they sold on, and went with, a car?

no they didnt go with the car. Im pretty sure i sold them over trademe

thanks to a fellow toyspeeder i have now got in touch with the guy and its looking likely that i will get the plates back for the price of buying a new one so thats all good.

If you never transferred the ownership of the plates cant you just get them 'reprinted' because they will still be in your name?

Sure can, though they'd not be able to be used. Unless of course they werent currently registered to a vehicle

they arnt registered to a car and havent been for a while. But regardless i did sell them and to just get them reprinted is a tad dodgy
