STOLEN - ORANGE/PRIMER 1981 KE70 Corolla CHCH

Postby BlackST185 » Sat Jul 10, 2010 3:49 pm

Hey guys,

My orange/primer 4 Door sedan got stolen between 2am-5am on morning of Saturday 10th July from Manurere St, Hei Hei/Hornby.

It has a 4k with a 4 speed that leaks oil and some water, the area where the bottom radiator hose connected to the engine had a leak and it is obvious by looking. New Clutch with aftermarket extractors also.

It has adjustable fronts and shortened shock on rears, dobi springs (blue) F&R with hotwire mags.

It had no front bumper and the bonnet was primer on the passengers side. Also has a tow bar.

It has been crashed in the past on the passengers side front and the primer and repairs are obvious. Because of this when i fitted the adjustable front were fitted the inner guard would rub the top of the tyre when turning right (Passenger side)

It has extensive rust repairs especially on the boot, petrol access and the bottom of the rare panels.

The bonnet was weird and stuck when opening, the interior was in bad condition with blue and black seat covers on the front seats and no covers on the ripped and bad condition rear seat. The dash was cracked and the petrol gauge and petrol low light doesn't work.

It had some of my sons clothes, a kids booster seat, even some of my sons artwork from kindy, needless to say I am extremely annoyed at this part.... My sons liked my car and I was even hoping to be able to let them use it when they grow up.....

I brought this car in unwarrantable condition (Obviously) with rust all though it, I got a WOF and have spend a lot of time and money on it with the intention of completely restoring it. I had finally almost finished getting the rust repairs done and was about to get it painted. Then the interior restoration would have started....

Any help will be rewarded and total confidentiality is assured and mutual. And if you could pass this information to others you know in CHCH i'd be very appreciative.
