Just found this awesome Nurburgring lap in car #50 LFA that finished 19th overall and 1st in the SP8 class with Juichi Wakisaka at the wheel. This race car is actually 20kg heavier than the road going version as it has to use steel brakes as the carbon brakes are'nt allowed, the car is on rails as it goes around corners and absolutely dice's traffic.

Enjoy...... 8) 8) 8) 8)

Heres another positive review of this car from a good driver Tiff Needell of Fifth Gear he loved it.

Once again, I just love this car! And if Tiff thinks it's worth the money, then it must be (that's without even mentioning the rest of the reviews that come out with the same conclusion!).
Cheers,
Brandon

43.4l/100km!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA awesome :D
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Thats more than I get when I'm at Manfield I get 30 laps out of a full 70 litres of gas which adds up to about 90-95 KM on a full tank.

Yeah the Skyline destroys fuel on Manfeild, something like 15 laps and I went through enough of a tank that I was worried about fuel surge haha.

Good to hear that Toyota are officially using this Nurburgring car an its technology and are officially entering the FIA's GT1 series. That'll be good to see as it seems this is where most of the other main motorsport manufacturerts are going aswell.Even sounds like they are going to run a Super GT car in the Japanese series and quite possibly could be entered in one of the GT classes at LeMans aswell.

At LeMans you'd think it'd be GT2 would'nt you the same class as Aston Martin Porsche Ferrari Corvette and Audi or is that GT1 I'm not sure but I pretty much think with this move this knocks all the WRC rumours on the head.

GT1 is dead at Le Mans. So yeah prob be GT2. Not sure on the status of GT3.
Wouldn't it be cool if the FIA and ACO worked together?
Tie in the GT classes, Lemans and ALMS, hell even DTM and SuperGT together.
Do that and F1, WRC, WTCC will get their butts kicked....

What's the idea with the NZ advertisement for the LFA (saw it 3 nights ago), expecting to sell some? Or just promoting the Lexus name?
