things to check after rollover

Postby touge_ae101 » Sat Aug 07, 2010 10:04 am

so one of our staff did us the liberty of rolling a 4wd 5 times down a hill. roof is pretty caved in but guna see if it will still run and chop the roof off. 8) (doesn't go anywhere near road)

its a old nissan terano with the 2.7L turbo deisel powerhouse. just wondering what kind of things to check mechanically before firing it up?? landed right way up so not like oil has settled in the head or anything.

Make sure all the brake fluid hasn't all tipped out of the master cylinder :)

Seen that one after a roll over on a retard day out at Manfeild.

and when you do it, stand back. the mega high compression of a diesel makes for a pretty powerful oil squirter.
