Have to say its been great fun winding up some aussie mates who were calling for Schuey to be banned. I then showed them this video and they went quiet after this.

First move in the video

what do you mean?
when Schuey started his push trick, Ruebens was already alongside him. backing off may have sent to kiss the wall.

If you watch the footage. Barrichello could have backed off at any time as there wheels were not inside each others at any time. I can't see how backing out of the situation was going to put him into the wall.

Why do people feel the need to put songs on videos where they don't belong? Ugh.
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

he should not have to. A move to defend your line is ok. So is a little squeeze. WHat the shoe did was stupid and dangerous.
But don't listen to us, listen to all the drivers, they are the real experts.

 ok

You said backing off wasn't going to help. If could have saved them both from a crash. Good on Barrichello for keeping his foot in. It must have felt like quite a rush for Barrichello just at the end of the pit wall. It was farking close.

I agree that the move by Schuey was terrible, dangerous etc.

I guess you could argue that Schumacher didnt block him enough and left him to much seeing as Barrichello managed to get pass :P

I suggest that everyone pop round to www.finalgear.com and get their hands on Ep 5 of season 15 of Top Gear.

They have a fantastic mini-doco on Senna in it and bring his Honda powered McLaren out for the first time in years.

I've seen Toyota's TF110 in the Racecar Engineer mag it had some really interesting things to say about the TF109 in comparison. They said overall last season the TF109 at the end of the season on average was the 2nd fastest car on the grid. With Toyota pulling out of F-1 this year alot of there team guys went to other teams and with alot of the info they had apparently the TF110 would have been a front runner this year as all the numbers that were shown for the TF110 in alot of key area's showed that the TF110 would have been right there at the front.

Would have been interesting, as didnt one of the teams that were trying to get in (Stefan GP???) have the rights to use that car?
