Who has contacts in Australia??

Postby crispy'86 » Fri Aug 13, 2010 4:04 pm

Anyone got a trusted contact in aussie that can help out a mate? I'm contemplating buying a manual gearbox and parts from Aussie for my Commodore . i know it's not a toyota but there are plenty of people on here that own various makes and models aswell as toyotas. I know of one person but not sure where exactly they live in Aussie. Anyone have mates over there that have helped people out in this way?

Well that's the thing, it'd have to maybe be in an area where either of you fulla's are in OZ. Since i haven't got a definite purchase in place yet it's hard to say where it'll be

This is to gauge a bit of an idea of who's where in Aussie so it's easier to look for a gearbox in that said area. E.G Melbourne or wherever, it's possibly a viable option to get some idea as to get a factory box here your looking at 4K for a decent one, so was hoping it'd be easier to get one overseas as some are cheaper like $900 or so

That's a handy thing to know, good to hear from someone who's been on the hunt for commodore bits
