recommend me a mechanic in wellington

Postby rollaholic » Tue Aug 31, 2010 9:44 am

hey all,

looking at buying a van in wellington, being in auckland makes it difficult to check it out. so can anyone recommend me a mechanic or vehicle inspector, preferably with diesel / mitsi experience to give it a thorough check for me?

im not a fan of AA checks but will go that way if i have to

also if anyone wants to talk about 4D56 delicas feel free :)

cheers!

edited for found a better one in wellington!

4D56 engines are prone to cracking the head and pressurising the cooling system.
Also they wear out oil pumps and lose oil pressure.

There are alot of readily available aftermarket cylinder heads that arent prone to cracking.
