just read the whole thread again. Trying to organizes things so I can make it down. For Monday and maybe Sunday.
Just one question regarding the oil catch cans.
I have a AE111 4age. Its got a 600ml Cusco catch can on it. Will this be in breach of the rules?

Yes it will.
Engines Under and up to 2.0L need to have a minimum capacity of a 1L catch can.
Over 2.0L engines need a minimum capacity of a 2L catch can.
Or you put it back to how the factory intended and it will be fine.

EDIT: Forced induction and rotary engines follow the same rule, no equivalence factors come into this.

I'd be keen for a 1l can - what sort of price are you thinking?

probably $60 for a simple one and looking at around $80 for one with some stainless wool in it etc. - can custom make them to a size etc if you have something in mind.

thats an estimate but if i know some numbers i can get a more accurate price. plus will want payment before i start making anything.

if i have enough time next week i will make a sample.

one question regarding tread on tyres though - what kind of tread are you wanting to see on tyres? my semi slicks are a bit low on tread but will run those ones on the back (new ones on front) and they aren't anywhere down to going right through or anything. just wondering if i might get caught out in scrutineering?

is as per schedule A which is a minimum tread groove depth of 1.5mm across at least three quarters of the width and around the entire circumference of the tyres contact surface

I also recieved the invoice today from Manfeild for the 50% deposit. This is due within a week, and we're still 3 payments away from being able to cover this. I'm not really keen to pay this myself given my situation, so this REALLY needs to be done ASAP.

I will definately know over the next 2 days. Just gotta confirm with dad.
