Caldina Gtt Sway bar linkage snapped

Postby spoonza6 » Mon Sep 20, 2010 9:14 pm

Found out today my driver side sway bar linkage has snapped off. Checked it after the car started feeling like a boat at higher speeds. What could cause it to snap as ive never had one break on me.

Fatigue maybe? Looks like its been cracked for some time, and has finally given up. Maybe someone replaced it with one the wrong size?

Looks like it broke at the weld?

Most likely the ball & socket seized and then it just twisted itself until it broke the weld.
