Tyre fitment questions

Just wondering, I have 15x7" Rims And i am looking for some rear tyres that will just do the job, They get worn down quick etc that old story!

Anyway, I have some 14" Tyres Will they fit onto 15" Rims?


Also while looking for bargin tyres Will basically any 15" car tyres fit on my rims?

15 inch tyres for 15 inch rims, nothing else! Let me know if you want something cheap sorted out down here and I could probably supply and fit something for a reasonable price

I'll price a few options on Monday. What size are you running at the mo? 215/60/15 kinda numbers are what I'm after

only 205s Depending on price etc, I would want alot wider, as wide as my rims will support and wallet.

Also looking at any 2nd hand options for the mean time, One of my rears is showing cord...
