AE92 w/20v axles etc

Postby Santa'sBoostinSleigh » Sat Oct 02, 2010 12:23 pm

putting my blacktop back into my ae92, question: do i use the axle hangar bearing that was in the AE111 or do i use the driveshafts from the AE92?
we must have used the driveshafts last time, but i thought i should find out what the 'right way' is before i do it again

If the hanger bearing will go in, use that. It will decrease torque steer and make the car easier to drive.

yup they fitted in my ae101 and whynot put a blacktop in a couple ae92's and they fit fine.
plus hanger bearings stop the driveshafts getting their wobble on and snapping when hauling arse.
