Should point out that Lexus' only contribution to the supercar world weighs 50-60% more and is only 2WD. This is after the extensive redesign it underwent - to save weight.
So yeah I'd say Lambo have done something that no one else has done by making an AWD V10 car that weighs in the sub 1ton class. I'd hazard a guess that the innovative CFRP technology they're talking about is the fact that the car is moulded mostly from 1 piece of Carbon Fibre/CFRP which saves substantially more weight while providing strength...
