Oh and the Trueno you got is awesome! I used to drive a Trueno XZ as well, but sold it and got a BZR as I really wanted a 4AGE, ha~

yeah superstrut parts aren't cheap but get it properly looked at and hopefully you won't have to replace all of them or it could just be a swaybar link. hope it works out for ya.

Haha yea...although I actually like Truenos better. Sadly couldn't find one at the rite price at the time so I got a Levin instead...but meh~~ Black Top is good enough for me for now Oh and the mod on your air intake is awesome! How much did that roughly cost??

lol my intake cost me about $70 all up. but i'd say a good 20hours of labour went into it.

might be making some for sale coming up over the summer break if i don't get enough work coming my way. will be looking to sell them for between $3-450 to make it worth my while (quite reasonable compared to ARC box)

wow 20hr is quite a lot of work. selling them sound like a good idea! I suppose if you try to mass produce them it would cost less money and time per unit~ oh and paint them! like you did with your cam cover, the TRD looks mint man~

anyways, how did you get to know all these things about building and modifying cars? Is that you profession?

yeah i could get it down to 3 or 4 hours of welding if i went and got all the pieces cut with the water jet etc but would need a decent order to justify doing that. i have pretty limited tools available for making these. it all comes down to $$ to buy the right tools.

i don't know anything there are plenty of more knowledgable guys on here, this is just one topic i have absorbed everything i can from guys that know. this forum is a great place to start when i joined up just over a year ago i knew next to nothing. its just a big learning experience. and you'll meet some cool people along the way too.

if you understand the basics of how an engine works, what would cause certain symptoms and some basic physics/engineering principles then you can normally join the dots together to try figure out what the problem is. and if you still can't figure it out, go talk to someone more experienced.
