Gear Oil recommendation - C160

Just wondering what gear oil you guys recommend for the c160 6spd gearbox? I put castrol syntrax in there but it almost feels a bit thick

Syntrax is the right oil.
I don't think it is think, on the contrary.

from what most people say castrol syntrax 75w90 is the stuff to use if its for only for general driving.

i'm using this also in my c56 and works well. crunches when cold (gearbox is a bit worse for wear) but once its warm it feels good.

OK this gearbox is a little weird. 2nd the 3rd gear shifts smooth as silk, 4th gear is quite notchy though. It doesn't graunch like the synchro is shot, but is just often difficult. Expecially when going from 6th to 4th to overtake etc... any ideas what the problem might be here?

probably what has been done to it it's whole life so i'd say just wear. just double clutch, rev match and learn to live with it and after a week it won't bother you i'm sure.
