Are the cars going out in groups of similar performance? Or is it just a random 8 cars at a time?

Dont be fooled just because you have all the horsepower in the world doesnt mean your going to be blisteringly fast.

Groups will be based on performance of the vehicle but the mainly experience as well.

Of course cars will go out matched up... well as best I can. :)

I'll be grouping cars and driver with the consideration of power and driver experience. There looks like there will be around five to six groups.

You'll get a grouping listing at documentation so you know where you will be. These groups will run for the morning and then in the afternoon if needed we'll free it up a bit as people get used to the track and their cars on the track.

:D

Nope, no log book :( and although I think the tyres would last at manfield, probably wouldn't pass scrutineering if they don't pass a wof.

Its ok, there will be other chances to do stuff.

Yes indeed. That's where I've put you as I figured that you will be new to the power of the car and the track. Want you to feel your way around rather than being terrified by the 'big boys' out there pushing it. I've heard 'low boost' is the way to go when you're learning. :)
Either way fun times ahead!

my cars mostly sorted, got the twin carbs on today and tuning them tonight, how tough will scrutineering be on oil? my car being old as hell has oil stains al over the engine bay and underside, but only has very slow leaks (the odd drip here and there) most of the oil is left there from previous motor but i wont have time to steam clean it.

yes, i did leave everything to the last minute

If you can find a couple of moments to wipe it down then the scrutineers won't even know there are a minor leaks. ;)

You should be fine but do monitor leaks so that the extra hard driving doesn't force fluids out.

as they say 'It'll be fine!" :D

What a shame, a Toyota event and we have lesser Corolla to total entries ratio than a normal motorsport event

I'm also surprised that there is only 1 Levin and 1 Trueno on the whole list. :

But 7 Supra's, thats pretty impressive.

You know me B... a hard task mistress.

Real interesting looking at the cars on the list. See how it goes I might even throw my Mirage around for a couple of laps if time allows. Muwahahahaha
Good entry list though... well done everyone and thank you for the support. We've managed to get it a happening thing once again.

Thats it I think out of all the track-days I've done in the last 10 years I've never been to a day with 7 count them people 7 Supra's.I really like that alot as for most of those years its been 1 or 2 others maybe.I think thats really good to see and I hope everyone including myself go well.
