Camber/Alignment issues on Caldina GT

Postby xsspeed » Wed Oct 27, 2010 2:08 pm

Hey guys

Mrs' caldina GT (st215g) keeps wearing outer edges of tyres (Potenza GIII's just replaced)

I suspect camber/combo of alignment issues as inflation is always kept up.

What are the factory limits for camber/castor/toe for a Caldina GT, or what do people recommend running? (I am assuming these are adjustable to some degree). Car is basically stock standard.

Also can anyone recommend an alignment place that will do more than just check it with lasers and tell me it's within spec and take my coin?

THASHZ will prob fire you a PM regarding this also

Cheers

I had the same issue:

Probably wouldn't recomend using the specs on the alignment sheet I uploaded, based on the comments I got.

ah yep was thinking of your thread when I posted but for some reason thought that was for an ae101/111

Most people seemed to say their issue was on the inner shoulder - I am finding it is the outer that is giving the problem - point to positive camber in my mind.

Will take it in somewhere and see what can be sorted - what did you end up doing with yours? same tyres? new alignment?

Sounds like the normal result from stock camber setting, stock tire pressure and aggressive driving.

What tyre pressures do you run?

Does not compute in this case.

hey dude , can bring it into work if you like and i can look over it for you and adjust to suit , no adjustable camber in front , more likely toeing in i would guess , can set it up slightly out , the specs are only a guideline anyway 8)
you still got my number ?
