Round 8 of the Manawatu Toolshed Road and Track series is an Autocross on the Manfeild Back track.

This is a basic event and is great for first time competitors. The format is relaxed and you get plenty of chances to test your skills.

If you have never done a Motorsport event before, this one is your chance. Almost anyone can enter this event - only a helmet and overalls are required. No license or club membership needed.

Enter via the Car Club entrance on Kawakawa Rd. Documentation and scrutineering from 8:30am. Racing starts at 10AM.

Pre-entries $45 (by Wednesday) or $65 on the day. To pre-register email Julian on manawatucarclub@xtra.co.nz

For more information go to www.motorsportmanawatu.org.nz

Normally a lot... I'd say at least 7 runs if you line up quickly (3 back track laps per run normally).

arrghh think i'll just have to pre-register and hope that i still have enough money by the weekend to put gas in the car :?

$45 is too cheap to say that i won't have enough money to enter! (which i probably don't) but can't turn down a bargain like that.

Checking to see if I can enter with the car at the stage its at. Wouldn't mind a decent test before taking it to the next stage.

What he said. Be nice to get a feel for how the car drives with the new setup and see how well the radiator works under harsh condition.

Been a long slow return from the fire last year :)

Shall see what the Hardy boy says 8)

Scruit will be very light - it's an autocross... The kind of thing BOS cars can do.

Very keen!

Will have to opt for the late fee tho as it all depends on how the WOF goes tomorrow :(

He didn't get it.

His words were to "email anything and I'll enter them". So just a basic email saying your name, car etc and you've locked in the $45.

Done. Thankyou.

My car has finally got some attention after the gearbox went in it earlier in the year at this series. You might of seen it - White AE82 FXGT with massive mudflaps. New to the sport and attend to rally it but just learning the ins and outs at the mo.
