you'd probably win that one, she's gonna be a bit cautious with her car first time out and I doubt she'll give me the keys to "test" her clutch :roll:


just a thought also, if your fans are run off your link, maybe have them kick in a few degrees colder and see if that helps at all, you'll need to adjust it if you change the t/stat anyway.

running the fan constant or switching on before (70 deg or so) thermostat opens, when warming the engine up before burnout, might give you a little more time. as you'l be starting with a radiator full of cool water, rather than the system whole system getting up to temp, then fan switching on. wont stop it from getting hot, but should give you a little more skid time before it does.
