Well, notice I didn't mention $ I would be putting on it :P
I don'tmean regular top tens, but a few.

But I do expect them to make a bit of a jump up the field a bit.
To the point that will be challenging Williams etc at times.
Being the subject of E-whinges since 2004 8)

Lotus will make a huge jump forwards, you only have to look at Force India to see what happens when you pick up a proven engine and driveline package

But the problem with buy the TF110 was that they were always going to relant on Toyota for the devlopment of the car, as they had not designed it them selves they would not understand the piliosphy that it was devloped with. HRT did the buy a car option and look where that has got them, even if HRT had brought the TF110 they may have been in front for a while but when they couldn't pay Toyota the money Toyota would have wanted for devlopment the car would have started to fall back rather quickly.

I highly doubt that Lotus or Virgin will drop back next year, I will be suprised with HRT are about


Funny thing is the TF-110 will probably be quicker than anything Lotus or Virgin will put on the track next year and I to believe it will take alot longer than a season for either Virgin or Lotus to run in the top 10 consistently the only way I see this happening is if there are alot of DNF's or reliability issue's from the big 5.

Infact nevermind results I think a more realistic target for Lotus and Virgin is to consistently make Q2 forget about top 10s because as above if the only way they get in the top 10 is DNF's by the big 5.

The team I hope that does well next year is Williams I really hope they can move in with maybe a few podiums as they are progressing nicely and seem to be just outside of that top 5.Barrichello and Hulkenburg are doing a really nice job there and I think out of the teams looking in i think they are the ones for me that look like they could shake up the establishment.

So, I wake up this morning

CBF gettgin up yet.. So reach for my trust Android ph, flick on the net and check emails....
F1.com results....
Pole, Nico Hulkenburg?! I fell out of bed.
Then I saw the gap.... Ah weather....
I wonder what he can make of it.
He has not done as well in F1 as a lot (me included) expected. But I have seen him in A1 and othe classes, and this boy CAN drive...
Keen to see how he handles starting from pole!

Bet this made things alot more intresting at Willaims regarding drivers for next year, even more so if he does well in the race tomorrow, 3 into one doesn't woek whos going to be dropped for Pastor?

I heard them say on that Williams driver issue that Barrichello is asking for to much so they are looking at Sutil as an option at Williams next year,mind you they also mentioned Renault as another possiblity for Sutil aswell.

I think Williams have made good progress through the season and Hulkenburg and Barrichello have been pretty consistently anchored in the top 10.

Should be an interesting finish in Abu Dhabi next week with Alonso still on top 8 points ahead of Webber I'm wondering what RBR are going to do here I no Webber has to win next week for him to have any chance.With Vettel still talking his chances up he's definitely out to prove he's there no.1 driver and throw Hamilton into the mix and its set-up for a battle royal.

I personally think Alonso will stick to his plan of at least a podium finish and he would'nt mind seeing someone like Hamilton or Vettel win the race but as long as Webber doesn't he's in but I'm wondering what or if at all team orders come into play this week with RBR or are they just satisfied with the constructors championship.We will have to see as I think alot of possible scenario's could take place for that last race.

If Red Bull had played the Ferrari game, and let Webber win in Brazil, Alonso would have to win at Abu Dhabi to get the championship. As it stands now he only has to finish 3rd. Another non champion quality championship fo Alonsohole :evil:

Can't wait for Midnight Sunday

I got a funny feeling Mark will be in second and he will try one of his golden overtaking moves on Vettel and will take himself and Vettel out of the race, giving Alonso the Win and the WC in the process

Afterwards Mark will cry and ask why Seb didn't jsut pull over for him, because he should know Mark finds it very hard to overtake with out hitting somthing or getting airbourne

If Alonso had been in the Red Bull this would have been over before Summer break, end of the day after 20 races if he leads the points he deserves to be WC, there is no such thing as a deserving and undeserving WC

No I have just come to realise that most championship have not been won on pure driver skill since about 1980 onwards

Alonso has best managed his situation all year to put him in the postion to win at the final hurdle, he has taken advanatge of every oppourtunity given to him to ensure that he is in the best postion to win.

When I now look at his Championship with Reanualt with the Mass Damper and the Michellen Tyres I shouldn't really moan becasue it is no worse than Button with the DD defuser last year, he had a car with a legal advanatage and he made the msot of it until it was banned

Boo Hoo you want some tissues :cry: :cry: :cry: Ferrari and Alonso have been the most consistent the last 5 races so he deserves to be where he's at.

Who said RBR won't do what you suggest in Abu Dhabi anyway.

End of the day, I'd still perfer Alonso to win than Webber

If Webber wins Austrilians are not going to STFU about how good there boy Marky is and how he had to over so many odds to become WC and how he is a deserving World Champion, when really he was just lucky to be in the best car at the right time, and had a team mate who engine like to expire when he is leading races

Personally I think the most impressive thing this season was how Alonso managed to keep consistently winning points in a car far slower than his rivals for the first half of the season. Anyone who can win the championship under those conditions deserves it to me.

But that can be said the same for any person whose driven Schumacher was much the same. He would do anything to win the title and went to some extreme measures over the years.

I only judge Alonso what he does on the track all the BS I could care less.I appreciate his skill on the track like the 2 moves he pulled on Hulkenburg and Hamilton had champion written all over it.

Nice guys come last. All the great champions would do something dodgy now and then.

You can love Alonso or hate him, but I think at the moment he is the best driver on the grid. A complete package you can say.

Vettel has the raw pace and has arguably one of the quickest cars on the grid. But he doesn't have the maturity or experience yet to match Alonso. He makes a lot of silly mistakes.
