Finding out why a vehicle failed a wof?

If I know that a vehicle has failed its last warrant check, but don't know the details, is there any way to find out? I'm pretty sure wof testers have access to this information?

Yeah it should be on the system, or get a hold of the original test sheet

Asked the guy that does wofs at my work, but all he can do is see if it failed or passed, sorry cant help.

there is no record as to what a vehicle failed its wof on, there should be, but there isn't

There is, in the sense that it is recorded in what category a vehicle failed under. But can't be accessed by many places

Your best bet is to go to where the car failed and ask for a copy ofthe checksheet

Yep this is correct. Asked my WOF guy about it a few weeks ago, he said they can only find out what area it failed on (ie. steering, brakes, seatbelts, suspension). obviously if they did the WOF themselves and you ask them nicely they may give you more indepth info.
