sc12 belt question

jsut got a pulley which is supposed to be 12 psi for my aw11 , how much longer of a drive belt will i need if anyone knows?

but the belt you have will be fine

only have to change belts when you jump up to the 14psi pulley

The 14psi or 175mm kit runs a 5pk 945-965 belt,
A 12psi pulley is about 165mm, and uses a 5pk 925-940

The boost it's running is not always a good indication, as the condition of supercharger and engine are the determining factors,


So dependent on the actual size of your pulley it may be either,

Easiest way is to probably check out the size of the crank pulley,
A 12psi pulley is about 165mm, a 14psi is 175mm,

or can check the gap between the crank pulley and water pump pulley,
if it's a big one there will be approx 1-2mm gap between the two, so use a 5pk 945
It's a 5-8mm gap use the shorter belt

Just re-read your post, easiest way is to measure the out side diameter of the big side of the pulley,
12psi- 165mm 5pk 925
14psi- 175mm 5pk 945

Have you got the smaller tensioner pulley to go with it?
You will need to remove the timing pointer, and fit smaller tensioner pulley for the crank pulley to fit,
