Aluminium welding in the Capital city.

Postby Mr Ree » Thu Feb 03, 2011 1:48 pm

Hi welly peeps, I need to get an aluminium elbow welded onto my turbo's compressor outlet so I stop melting bloody silicone couplers.

I have the turbos front cover off now, and the piece of pipe just arrived in the mail so Im going to cut it down to length and mark it up this afternoon.

Does anyone know who I could take it to to get tig'd up for a box of beer? Its only a 5 minute job so I dont really want to have to go through the old classic line of "leave it with us for the day" and be charged $100 for a quick bead of weld.

Cheers for any help :)
