Can anyone tell me how to get into a caldina? Taken the window guard off -my old Honda had a lever you could hit to open it but I can't see anything similar.
Any ideas?

On an AE92 Corolla, you could remove the exterior window chrome trim (has the rubber "wipe" strip before window goes in door) on the rear driver's side door and using a screwdriver approx 8" long, pop the rear door's lock mechanism.
I'd locked the keys in so many times, I could do this in under thirty seconds. It's an option as I've never had a Caldina but maybe the systems are similar.

If the locks are fairly worn you can get them open with any Toyota key by wiggling it while turning. Or pop the lock out and physically work the mechanism and then put the lock back in. Or call a Locksmith/AA.

Do you have an alarm in your car with auto unlocking? If so, do you have a second remote that you might have forgotten about until just now?

Have never locked keys in the car sorry. Do you have a spare key? My Caldina came with one 
Is the boot locked?
PS - how did you lock the keys in when you have a remote locking mechanism?

The longer story - locked keys in house. Girlfriend left handbag with her house keys in the car. The car looked easier to get into than the house.
In then end a locksmith mate came round and opened the house in around 5 seconds (apparently the going rate in the weekend is $180 - a broken house window would be way cheaper than that).
I'll take the door pannel off tomorrow to see if there's an easy way into the dina (more out of interest than anything). Lock's not worn - it came with factory remote locking and it's had an alarm on it for years. To be honest I'm not even sure if the keys work in the door (since I've never tried it).
