I think its possible to get cover on the racetrack, a guy at work uses his R35 GTR at track days, think he has some cover but with about a $10k excess or something...I haven't looked into it before though as never had a car worth that much on the track...try car clubs though, they'd be able to point you in the right direction, it will be through clubs rather than someone like AA. Probably underwritten by someone like Western Pacific or China Insurance as a scheme deal

bump

recently purchased an oldschool bmw

its lowered mags etc

what insurance companys should i be lookig at ?

im on my restricted at the moment but will get full sometime this year

still wanting to go with full insurance

NAC or Clic Car insurances, Clic tends to be a little cheaper most of the time.
Can I ask why full insurance? Old school BMWs don't tend to be very expensive...

If you want to consider third party NAC doesn't offer Fire & Theft coverage, however Clic offers Fire & Theft, windscreen cover and an innocent party coverage (if you get a hit and run in a carpark or w/e) and is reasonably cheap.

Just a few options.

Edit: And from what I remember NAC has a $1,000 limit coverage on wheels.

cheers mate will give them a ring see which is best

its a 325i manual bmw wagon blisteins all round aftermarket springs they are pretty rare now ,16x8 rims, tinted.

i dont think id want third party on it .
