1992 AE101 levin Apex gt centre consul question

Postby softlad » Wed Feb 23, 2011 9:50 pm

Could someone with a 1992ish Levin as above post a picture of the centre consul.
I have a gapping expanse in mine and not completely sure what it is actually missing, i know the stereo mount is not there but that will only fill half the space.

Thanks in advance :D

I'll try to explain more clearly.
Below the ventilation controls and above the lighter and ashtray I have a large gap that i can see electrical connections and under the dashboard.
I assume the stereo goes into part of this space , but that still leaves enough space for another stereo or a storage hole or cup holder slide out.
I am not very familiar with Toyotas which is why a picture would show me what my car is missing and I can then describe the missing bits to people who are breaking Levin cars on TM or at car part recyclers

do you have any pictures/copys of the full brochures for the ae101 trueno/levins?

id be keen to see them if you do?
The four seasons in Australia consist of "$&#$% it's hot", "Can you believe how $&#$% hot it is?", "I won't be in today because it is too $&#$% hot" and "Yes, the dinner plate size spiders come inside to escape from the heat."

I've got one for the Levin and one for the Trueno if you want them (also have one for the AE101 FX-GT and two for the AE101 Corolla sedan). Both in PDF format. Flick me your email address and I'll send them through.

Are you saying you just have a double DIN head unit space which only has a single DIN head unit in, leaving the gap above or below?

If so just buy a universal pocket to put in there, for storage. Ours had a pull out cup holder and small pull out tray in there.

Christ there were some sweet options! I'd love a set of those alloy sill runners.

2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
