Drivers seat issue

Postby Barark » Fri Feb 25, 2011 4:19 pm

I have a 1989 Ae92 FXGT

I have been knocked back on my WoF for "loose drivers seat back" because it has about half an inch play in it, im guessing due to worn internals.

Has anyone had this problem and how have you fixed it?

Does a fixed back race/bucket seat need to be certed?

as long as you use the original seat mounting points and seatbelt mounting points then its not an issue (for reclinable seats). i don't think seatbelt will be a problem IIRC ae92 seatbelt is mounted to tunnel, not to the seat like ae1xx
