Yeah but make sure you put bluetop cams in it, good for another 10kw

You only gain the 10kw with coby extractors tho.

And dont forget the 7m throttle body ;-)

sc12 - 4age
sc-14 -1g-gze
sc 16 - off the estima (what I have heard is that it is a sc16)
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 776539.htm

Is different from the sc14 because of the lower revving longer stroke needs more air down low, so is good for bigger displacement engines.

Runs off a clutch like an airconditioner compressor...hit the switch when you need it, drive normally other than that...no extra boost to hurt engine 100% time, just for the few minutes you need!

Interesting, I thought Estimas had SC14s.

HMMMM, could just be a sc14 with different pully, as the estima has a lower rev limit ad so stays well within the thermal efficiency bla bla caouse is is revving lower.

yuo could always be a sadist and track down a 2JZ-FSE

direct injection biatch - same power as a 2JZ-GE but insane fuel economy apparently :D

Power and economy go well together if you put it on LPG, don't even need a fancy computer to do that either.
Yes it's been done many times.
Petrol is probably the worst fuel to use for a performance car, it's just convenient.

easiest and probaby cheapest\least work would be find one with a 1JZ-GE or GTE in it from factory - the GE will have enough grunt but be economical int he sense you wont be racing it just to keep pace with others - and the GTE is hilarious fun! while getting good KM\L if you dont drive like a spazzo

or get a 1G-GE and strip the car of everything to try and remove weight? ;)

I agree, LPG is awesome, but then I would have no boot or spare wheel space.....ad you can get those awesome wet injection kit for LPG from aussie, the make more power than petrol, even before they are tunned!!!

The kits I have seen are mist kits, so injecting gas LPG and liquid LPG injection, treating it like petrol, works mean!!!

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned it yet, but your best option to achieve fuel economy in a MK3 supra is a 4k.

Either that or push it nose down off a cliff :)

My Dad has a heavy car with a K-series motor in it and it isn't very economical at all, sure a K-series would be cheap to run in a light car where it doesn't have to work too hard - but if you are foot flat everywhere to keep the thing moving you just end up with something slow and thirsty.

Want something economical and fun, get something powered by a 20v.

imagine a 4K in a MKIII

you would have to step INTO the engine bay to reach it to do any work on it!
