Re: Clearance Sale!

http://www.fortyone.co.nz/clearance.php

A couple of bits and pieces added - nothing much new there - But! If an item reaches reserve we are likely to sell it right away without any more offers being accepted! That means, even if someone would offer $10 more than you but it's already reached reserve, we'll sell it anyways! Their loss, your gain! So offer away, there's just under 400 unique people looking at the clearance sale daily.

Also be sure to bookmark it. It finishes Thursday. Some items have already reached reserve and have been sold, so don't miss out by waiting for the offers to grow - go for the kill

Closing today! Don't miss out on a deal because you're bidding real low, hoping to get it for a steal - we won't sell if the offer is too low. Instead, opt for a reasonable offer - what you'd like to score a part for and see how that goes.

It'd be 'stink' to know that you would happily pay $80, but only bid up to $50, on an item we'd offer for $75 but never knew because you didn't offer high enough

C-One has gone =[

About a month ago they informed us they were to close. A few here have jumped on it via PM to see if they could get any C-One bits but alas, we have no access to any of it. Rumour has it in Japan the banks scrap the stock for cash. They're generally not interested in selling. I've tried a few different angles - through C-One, JUN, TRD / Toms, but no one seems to know how or where to get any old stock.

So I am out of ideas really - short of flying over and sniffing around!

Which items are you after specifically, perhaps I can suggest alternatives or look on Yahoo?

So it's the end of May and the US brands are throwing out special pricing to us on pretty much all stock (some carbon / Ti parts and partner brands parts are not included but ask anyway!) to move stuff that's been sitting for a while on their shelves.

If you've PM'd me in the last few days, those prices are good and include the sharpened discounts already. The only condition with this is that we have to have placed the order before the month is out.

Here's the first lot of brands to look through:

Blox
Skunk2
APR Performance
ARP Fasteners
NRG Innovations
Innovative Mounts
EBC Pads
NGK Plugs and Leads
Koni
Prothane
Energy Suspension
Unorthodox Racing
AEM Electronics and Intakes
Neuspeed

And these are also Included

Apexi USA
5AD Wheels
Buddyclub via the US (JP options excluded)
HKS USA
AFE
Tokico
Ground Control
Denso
Edelbrock
JE Pistons
Carillo
Eagle Industries
Innovative Motorsports

Basically these are the brands who we've worked with for over 5 years who email us out their monthly specials. We just asked them to do it all in the same month. We might be able to haggle better prices out of others (B&M, Powerslot, Fujita, Tanabe etc) but as they are low volume to NZ, they don't move on pricing.

Anyways, ask us for a price or if you are after a certain part I can recommend options so ask anyway! If you want spark plugs - ask. If you thought the idea of a carbon roof spoiler on your Honda Civic Shuttle was cool, ask. If you think we don't do a US brand - ask. You'd be surprised! (especially with the likes of ERL building engines for our customers!)

Right ya'all - the US$ is very very good at the moment and the YEN is stronger this week!

The US$ is at 82. For those that don't know, the higher the US$, the cheaper the parts for Kiwis. The same applies for the YEN. There's always an upper limit to how high it can go, and right now the US$ is at or near that limit. In other words, parts don't get much cheaper!

The YEN on the other hand has languished at 57-62 for 3 years. It nudged 65 once, then tumbled back. Good old Reserve Bank and Interest Rate hikes! Anyhow, 66 is very good considering where it usually sits - it can go much higher, but over the last 3 years when ever it's hit 65+, it's crashed a week later. So that's at a good level also.

Some examples showing the differences in prices when then rates are good vs bad:

HKS Cams pair from $890 delivered - if the exchange rates was 'normal' they'd be $360+ more
Bride seats - since most start on or around $1000 and go up from there, they'd be 20% more expensive if the YEN went back down to 57-60
Cusco goodies - same as the Bride seats!

If the US$ goes back to something normal, prices will go up a heap. For example, if it sits on 60 that will mean a 37% minimum price increase. Something that cost $200 will then cost $274.

Remember, we don't do Briscoe's pricing, where we buy towels at 10 for $1, sell them at $39 each and put them on sale for $19 - we have real prices where we buy for $100, sell for $120!

Another cracker kit for delivery end of year on our containers are the super light N1 type exhausts from JIC Magic. These are (unless otherwise stated) full cat-back systems designed for Power. And the prices are very good too! On a cat-back system, shipping is $290 total from Japan. This saves you about $600 on normal LCL ocean freight shipping. Because they are so long, there's very much no other option shipping wise to get the buggers in. So add that to the part price below:

The exhaust suits:

SXE10 $599
JZX90 $699
JZX100 $789
JZX110 $699

If you need specs just ask!

Hey mate,

Could you please get a price and availability on aftermarket valve springs to suit 2JZ-GTE non-vvt. Not looking for heavy weight items, maybe something similar to Brian Crower BC0300 (Seat pressure: 1.325" @ 80 lbs / Open: 0.980" @ 158 lbs).

Cheers :)

OK I am on it. Should get some options overnight (BC, Supertech). The Japanese don't do 'em.
