Does it have to be said?... pot... kettle... f-duct (from McLaren) ... double diffuser (from Brawn/Toyota/Williams). F1 is hilarious.

I would'nt go that far but what I would say is that he has reached his ceiling and there are a few guys round in other teams with more potiential he just fills that roll as the Aussie Battler.

Watched Senna last night.

Was a very good watch, didn't learn anything but saw some awesome F1 clips from the glory days.

ATTENTION: MOVIE DISCUSSION AHEAD :)

It wasn't exactly a balanced documentary, but then again I suppose it was a tribute film. I think it also failed to show how much of an aggressive racer he was. It very briefly touched on his numerous crashes but painted him as a massive victim in the whole Prost thing when each of them had an equal role in it.

Would have also liked very brief coverage of the technical side, even just a brief piece to show Joe public the kind of machines these guys were racing.

Was also disappointed that there weren't that any modern interviews with people still around who had a lot to do with his racing life - Frank Williams, Ron Dennis, Schumacher, Barichello, Prost :P. Maybe even interview some of the new guys in F1 (Di Resta, Vettel, Hamilton) to show how strong his legacy is. I feel that it would have tied the whole thing together much better.


my version didn't have subtitles for the french bits, but I don't think I missed much.

Yes it definitely will be.

Really good to see all of the teams struggling a little bit to find a good set up when running high fuel loads with the soft tyres.

Quali is pretty late today though so who knows, we might get another session like last year with the Mclaren's and Ferrari's out in Q1 due to a downpour.

Hardly any drivers have done any meaningful laps on the inters and wets so its going to be exciting no matter how it pans out.

Lets hope for some precipiatation as its the only thing that will stop RB walking away at the start.

Well the Mclarens certainly got their tyres working well in quali, the gap is far far smaller than it was in Oz.

Cant wait for the rain tonight ;)

Yeah qualifying was awesome, wasn't expecting McLaren to even challenge Red Bull but they came to the party.
Kinda feel sorry for Ferrari, they even admitted having no idea on the setup for their cars.

I lol so often when the marshalls make a ham of it and trip over.

The marshalls from Silverstone whould be the FIA endorsed marshalls and get paid to travel the world with the F1 cicrus.

Ok, only 2 races in.... But seems the competition will be who will be 2nd as Vettel seems to be in a class of his own at the moment....

I see Alonso was given a post race drive through, which is 20 seconds added to his time. But he was more than 20 secs clear of the guy behind him so really it's no penalty at all...

Hamilton was penalised too for blocking Alonso.

Vettel didnt have it as easy as he did in Oz though so Im going to remain hopeful that when we get back to Europe, some tracks will be better for other teams than RB.

Not to mention how much more the teams will be developing the cars once they are back in the motherland

Yeah saw that, but he lost a place.
I just think it's odd that if you hand out a penalty post race, that it's not actually a penalty.

To me RBR are still along way ahead of McLaren and Ferrari.

The only reason why Hamilton got as close as he did was because Vettel was in conserve mode with tyre wear and what not and he had KERS problems throughout the race but when he had to go he had Hamilton and whoever else was chasing well and truely covered.

I really think we are starting to see the best of Vettel and I think if McLaren and Ferrari can't get the SH*T together I really see Vettel just walking away with the championship because at the moment to me I think if push comes to shove I think RBR are alittle further down the track then everyone else.
