Pros and cons of 1jz-ge dizzy or coil packs

Pros and cons of 1jz-ge dizzy or coil packs. Have engine, but no loom ecu, can only find dizzy atm, no coil packs as yet.

What did the engine that you've got originally use?

As the engine will need a crank and cam angle sensor for coilpacks, if it doesnt use a distributor. As well as the ECU/wiring/etc to suit.

Setting it up with whatever the motor came with originally will definitely be easiest solution.

What if it cam with coils, is it easy to put dizzy set up onto it?

you cant mix and match the two, the cams are different
