66 on 1 Dinner

Postby 1I1 » Tue Apr 12, 2011 7:42 pm

Was wondering if there was interest in getting a group together and going out to the 66 on 1 dinner out at Foxton for tea one Friday or Saturday night?

Thinking either 15th / 16th (this weekend) or 29th / 30th - the weekend after Easter

Could incorporate it with another activity such as karting, cruise etc

Refer:
viewtopic.php?t=83484

Be good to get a mix of members from Manawatu and Wellington together

EDIT: the 66 on 1 Dinner is an American theme'd place - kinda like what you see in movies on, funnily enough on Route 66 and other Highways

Yes! Quite a cool place to go for dinners. The burgers are pretty good.

Might ba able to make it along if its this weekend - working my way down the island down the east coast ending up in Welly over the weekend.

Let me know if you do go!

If it's during the ski season I will be travelling to and from along that road a lot more!

I find the food from there a bit hit and miss, sometimes it's really good, others not much better than Big Tex days. Although they are still the king of the grease burger....

The food was pretty terrible last time I went!
But could potentially be up for a nice open road drive though. Happy to take a passenger if someone wants to go but doesn't want the fuel bill- it'll be in one of the mazdas though!

Thinking probably Saturday the 30th (this weekend probably a bit to close/short notice).

People keen on heading north a bit earlier and going karting?
