GTT auto trans question

GTT auto trans question

Got a 97 GTT and just wanted to know is it normal for the auto to only go into 4th with overdrive on? Have only owned 1 other auto and it didn't have over drive so it may be that I'm just not used to it.just wanted to check?

Yes, that's normal. Overdrive is 4th gear. It's best to drive with O/D constantly on, unless you're going uphill or towing a trailer.
