Yea a huge shame for us kiwis that GP3 isnt being shown, I guess we should feel lucky that we even get the GP2 races. GP2 is starting on sky at 7.30, then a replay of F1 quali, then GP2 Race 2.

Then time to watch the first Superbike race before switching back for the GP.

Then if Im still keen, race 2 of superbikes hehe

Was a pretty good race that first GP2, huge crash at teh start as well

Might have to find torrents of the GP3 stuff, as I havent heard anything about the races being shown here in NZ, even a few weeks delayed which sucks the big one.

Yeah a huge crash indeed!! Thank god for the roll over hoop being so over engineered or he could have been very hurt.

I hope the chaps leg wasnt too hurt in the race 2 crash either.

25 mins too go and the tension is building...

After watching the 1st half of this race one thing has become apparent to me.Michael Schumacher isn't the driver he was and gets absolutely owned in traffic all these younger drivers are like sharks who smell blood in the water and I'm afraid Michael your time is up as an F-1 driver.

You were great but now you are not doing yourself justice I say while its been good your goneski's next year.

Schumacher seems to do ok in Practice, but when the pressure is on he doesn't do very well at all.
He still drives pretty good, but nothing like the younger generation.

I thought Coulthard summed it up well by saying Michael isn't used to driving in traffic as when he dominated more times than not he was out front in a superior car.

But on a more serious note he should get out after this season as his reputation is still intact if he goes around again and isn't in a domininant car I feel he'll be a also ran and to be honest for a great driver like he was there is no shame for him to walk away now but if he keeps going like he is I feel he's just damaging his legacy as one of the all time F-1 greats.

Becasue Barrichello doesn't come with all the hype Schumacher does and secondly Barrichello hasn't been out performed by his teamate for the last 2 seasons.

What on earth would the British bleat about. Schu makes up fully 50% of all Brit F1 moaning.
They would have to find somebody else, maybe even the current DeutscheUberAlles.

Yeah that story has been running since the first time it was suggested that the state would be investing in the race.

The people moaning about it just chose to ignore the word "invest" and report it as waste...

Yeah, seen this story before, Texas has a teacher shortage and with the recession seeing budget cuts this guy published how many teachers they could hire instead of watching race cars.
Doesn't help that once again they are holding the F1 in a state where they prefer other forms of motorsport, but then again, the US fans did travel to Indy in big numbers.

I would seriosly look at going to US F1 race if it stays. Almost got my shit together to go to Indy one time. There is just so much else to do at the same time.

Most fantastic moment for me was the BBC commentators on Schu after he nailed Petrov.

Commentator 1 (Brundle from memory?): Do you think thats his problem, he just doesn't know when to give up.

Commentator 2: On his career or his racing moves.

Such a good/hilarious call.

It makes sense for David to say that as he clearly has the personality of someone who quits when things get hard or the results arent there.

We all know Michael doesnt come into that bracket, and that he had his eyes wide open when he returned, in regard to how much work will be required to get good results. The only people who seemed to think its a walk in the park were british commentators, and the british media....so nothing has changed has it haha.

5 days until the rain in spain...well maybe not the rain, but atleast some overtaking on that cursed track
