Nothing new to report at the Takanini yard, however there was a red MR2 (SW20 shape) that was sitting out the back waiting to be put out. I can't confirm whether or not it will be put out on the yard today or next week (if at all), but they were removing one of the old cars from the yard when I was leaving, so I'll keep an eye out when I'm there next (most likely early next week).

Please note that when I visit the Takanini yard I usually always go out to the Mangere yard straight afterwards, and vice versa. So if you see that nothing is written for one of the yards in my post, it means that there has either been nothing new come in or that I felt there was nothing of interest to any members here at ToySpeed. However, keep an eye on the current stock on the Pick-A-Part website and if you see something that may interest you just let me know and I'll check it out thoroughly the next time I'm there Image

Not really sure as they usually remove the wheels from the car when they come in and put them in a container at the front with various prices on them. Not sure why they left them on this time. I'd say around $150-200 with tyres at a guess. Yep, pretty sure they were 15's, they had a bit of curbing and some of the centre caps were missing.

hmm that is rather tempting. looking for a cheap set of 15's for track wheels. tyres don't matter they'll be thrown.

Yeah one of the wheels was sitting on the ground when I was there too. There was an Asian guy taking bits off it. Ended up letting him use my ratchet, haha. He was the one who took the headlights and front bumper, but left the front lip for some reason even though it wouldn't have cost him any extra :?

Haha, nah mate. That one can stay there. When I get one I'm going to make sure that it's from an unmodified vehicle and has a lot less mileage than that 8)

Cheers man. I can't take credit for the thread but I'm glad my posts are coming in useful :). If the parts you need are relatively simple to remove and fairly small in size (no doors, bumpers, bonnets etc) then I could get them for you for no extra charge. As long as you're willing to pay for the cost of the part and the shipping then I don't mind helping out 8). I do however accept donations ;)
