Alignment/Tyre wear issue, where to go (AKL)

Postby dub » Thu May 19, 2011 12:04 pm

Got a problem with front tyres wearing unevenly on my corolla.

Car came with 'tein adjusties', haven't worked out exactly what they are and I'm not sure asking for a wheel alignment from my regular service/warrant shop is going to be productive.

Any ideas or recommendations on where to take it, I'm on the shore.

Chris who owns Centerline Suspension in Grey Lynn is AWESOME.

All they do is suspension & alignments - he's seems really onto his stuff.

1. Too much camber
2. Wheel is toeing out too much

= You need a wheel alignment to bring it back into factory specs.

Drive it harder around the corners and it will wear evenly. I run about 3deg of camber on the front and have even tyre wear...
