caldina issues

Hey guys, the gf just bought a 1995 3s-fe caldina for a run around, it was cheap so not to worried but it has a vibration in the brake pedal when you brake (like something is out of alignment), does anyone know what is causing this?also it fogs up really bad to the point where you can not see much at all, moisture im geussing but how can i find where and how can i sort it?

Turn the A/C on to get rid of stuff, and likely warped brake rotors. Price new ones or skim the old ones

i have a 1996 st195 caldina. mine was warped front rotors. Replaced them and problem solved

cheers guys, il have a look into it, hopfully thats the case and i can just skim the rotors at work, as for the fogging, she recons she had the a/c on and it wasnt solving the problem (thats why i asked on here incase it may be something else) il have a play around tonight though for myself and see if i can get it sorted though

Refrigerant run out in the AC? If its working as it should it shouldn't take much to get rid of the fogging.

Hard to find the cause in winter as many cars will fog up, get some of those dessicant dehumidifier packs if need be (though I have found that these only absorb lots of water on hot humid days rather than in winter - fogging in winter is more to do with condensation on the cold windows - reaching dew point - than humidity, if I start getting geeky about it)

Run a dehumidifier in the car overnight and it'll dry the entire thing out. Then see if you still have a moisture problem going forward.

Do you have a sunroof (common place for a leak - or a blocked drain rather)? Check door and window seals etc.

As for your brakes - as said either replace or machine your rotors.

Crank the heater to full, stick it on feet setting and leave in drive idling for a while on a sunny day?

When you say fogging how bad is it?
Like running down the windows bad?
There maybe a leak somewhere. Window seal? Leaking heater box?
Are the carpets wet?

Shouldn't be too hard to figure out if your a/c works. Turn it on and see if it goes cold!
