servicing zze123

Postby AutoGT » Thu Jun 02, 2011 2:38 pm

hey guys,

so after leaving the whole starlet scene, i went onto the corolla bandwaggon and got myself a '03 Corolla Runx Z (zze-123). Pretty awesome car even tho it has an auto box (tippy).

Times come for servicing it and I was wondering whats the best oil I could use? Cheapo repco/SCA branded ones or Castrol ones?

Also whether it has to be Mineral or Synthetic? I have no idea about what kinda oil to get for it and was looking for some advice :).

Cheers all.

5W30, or 0W40 will be a good start (Castrol Edge range).
Don't put shitty oil in that engine.

Go for genuine filter, they are not much more expensive, but are light years ahead in quality.
