We ended up going comprehensive with State, cost a bundle but can't drive the car without insurance. Maybe its' just a third party thing?

Yeah its a bit bs though using the eq as an excuse for not giving anyone 3rd party. I can't see how that works. I also just moved flats and can't get contents insurance either. An eq doesn't stop people stealing things...

Talked to the insurer of your car? You might have to call a broker or something if things are that tight to get insurance now. I'm dreading my renewals arriving in the mail

ring around, talk to supervisors if neccasary. house, contents, life, medical, laser, mr2 and the gfs cars are all insured under different companies :lol:

pain in the ass but noone will take on extra policies at the moment. will combine them all once all this shit settles down.

Yeah, I'll Keep ringing, or else my parents said that they might be able to put it on their business insurance with me as a nominated driver.
