As mentioned above, there's an SW20 at Takanini. It's been there since the 20th of May however so it's been pretty stripped. Here's my post about it from the previous page:

Kiwi-Corolla wrote:Takanini:
Car make & model: 1992 Toyota MR2 G-Limited (SW20).
Arrived: Friday 20th May, 2011.
Colour: Red.
Engine: 3S-GE.
Transmission: 4-speed automatic.
Odometer: 128,408km.
Accident damage: No.
Other damage: Wear on driver's seat side bolster, damage to front lip, broken left front indicator nearest the guard, broken aerial.
Parts missing: Driver's interior handle surround, lower dash panel.

P.S. A white Suzuki Wagon R turbo arrived the other day. That may interest you judging by your avatar 8)

P.P.S. Went to the Takanini and Mangere yards today and there was nothing new to report.

Yep, at the Takanini yard. Yeah you just go there and take the parts off yourself. It costs $2 to get in. Just make sure you wear close-toed shoes (no jandals etc). Not sure what you mean about the courier bit though :?

Ohh, now I see what you mean. I've never done that personally, but I think they'd be ok with that. You could probably put it right up by the counter so nobody else walked off with it.

What part of Auckland are you in? I might be able to drop a gearbox off depending how big it is.

Hi KiwiCorolla on the pick-a-part website they have tonnes of 80's corollas on the stock list :P

next time your out at the mangere pick-a-part could you check out if there is anything that could suit my AE82 Corolla GL Sedan? Im currently after lowering springs/shocks, ANY rare oem bits (no idea what, just want some :P ) and any aftermarket body parts.

OH and looking for a set of decent leads and dizzy cap it its alright too for a 4A 1600 carby :)

Cheers man! keep this thread going its epic. Loving the new interior floor light you got btw

Hey, yeah there's quite a few of them there at the moment. No problem man. I'll have a look for you next time I'm there :)

Glad you like the floor light. Hopefully there'll be some rare parts for your AE82 too 8)

Had a look at a few AE82's today and there were no lowering springs or rare parts unfortunately. There was however a hatchback version that had a sunroof, but I'm not sure if it was factory fitted or not because it looked a little rough. There's a 4A engine at Mangere with the distributor and leads still on it. They're a bit orange as the radiator has obviously boiled over, but nothing that can't be cleaned off :)

Nothing new and/or interesting to report at either the Takanini and Mangere yards.

Hey Kiwi Corolla

Can you please check if the Wagon R still has a gearbox and if it does can you please check if it's manual?

I went there yesterday after a 1hr 10min scooter ride all the way from the west but couldn't make it in time.

And check if it's a MA61S if you could

Sorry for the troubles

Cheers mate.

Yeah no worries mate. I'll probably be back there in the weekend knowing me . I just had a look at the stock list and apparently it's an auto.....It's a 1998, so the very last of that shape.

Shame bout' oem optionals but its like trying to find gold haha.

Speaking of gold i found a ae82 digital dash in a fxgt at the toyota wreckers here in palmy :–D unfortunatly the fuel tank was already gone and the gb/motor so dont have all the bits to get it going.

Are the leads on that 4a anygood? mine are brittle as heck lol

Let me know if there is anything your after for your rolla and i can have a look at my local wreckers :–)

How long do the cars usually stick around for that was on the 3rd of May. Just wondered if its still there doesnt seem to be on the stock list anymore.

Usually about a month. Both the AE92 Trueno and AE101 Trueno have now been removed and replaced.
