Hi,
My friend (and ex-boss) PJ (Peter Johnston, director of Rally NZ) has been doing private track-days (actually track afternoons) each month for quite a while.
I have talked recently with him about extending invitation to Toyspeed.

Location: Hampton Downs.
The cost is somewhere between $60 and $70 (depending on how many people), in summer the trackdays start at 4pm, in winter at 2pm. Runs until sunset. This all depends on weather of course.
All you need is a car and a proper helmet (motorbike one will do).

I'm keen (put me down for two). Only likely to do a handful of laps so that price makes it very appealing.

Ok, since there is an interest, everyone who is serious coming pm me with their name and e-mail address. I will arrange the e-mail address to be on the mailing list with trackday details. So you will get e-mailed with date and time before trackdays.

I would like to clarify that these trackdays have been happening for about a year, so it is not "what if, maybe" scenario.
It is normally once a month (if weather permits), afternoon on workday (so unfortunately you will have to take some time off work), hence the cost is low.

All people who PM'd me: I have added you to the mailing list.
The track day will most likely happen early next month. Once we have the date finalized you will receive e-mail with details.

You can tug along some friends if you want to (but don't bring school buses).
