Sup guys, my bro's GF is looking to get her full license but wants to do a defensive course to take time off.
Is there any company you guys recommend or any good personal experience??
She said her friends told her to not do it with AA so thats out.

was gonna say AA but why do her friends say no?

you show up, you pay attention, you do the work without causing a fuss and you get the cert

simple enough

She said that apprently AA charge too much and their technique are crap or some sort, not sure but she says no LOL

I'm sure the people that said not to use AA gave her the names of better companies to go with?

I did mine with the AA years and years ago, no complaints.

cant remember who i did mine with but i thought it was a bit of a joke, the only thing i remember of it was they put little trays of jelly beans out on the desks....

*think it only cost me $100

Did a bit of hunting for her today and found out that the 2drivesafe is apprently the cheapest now at $160 where as everywhere else you are looking at $170+.

To be completely honnest, I learnt nothing form the the defensive driving course i did, it was all common sense, like look around you to see whats actually going on/could happen.

But it was only $120 bucks to take 6 months of the licence, so figured it was worthwhile.

Though I found it hugely amusing it was held at the blind foundation :lol:

If you can afford it, I'd say save up for one of the practical handling coures on offer. Seems a better investment in my eyes.

The course I did was $100 and pretty much open book. All your learned was common sense. I would have preferred to do a practical test as book testing isn't how I learn.
