yeah thats what i was thinking. need to go see carlos tomorrow night and get the App off him + see if its going to work on this iphone 3G..

yeah i could be keen for a fang in Gunter and go halves on entry? can't quite justify the cost of getting my car going + entering quite yet.

but it all depends how sore the old man is after his 10day hike in the bush and if his back can stand up to a track day after all that. will talk to him tonight.

RX7 is currently at STM for an oil leak to be looked at, so chances are that it might not be at the playday this weekend. Look for a green miata instead lol

Actually, the easiest way to spot me will probably be by the pink hair and black & pink race suit, regardless of which car I end up taking!

Arrived in NZ today at lunchtime and I went and picked them up tonight to have a play. I only have an iphone4, so didn't even take the 3gs attachment out of the packet, but it looks pretty similar just a bit differently sized. Pics below (click for big):

The little clip at the top is sort of sprung, and it's easy to get the phone in & out - but I did have to take it out of it's regular case. Doesn't seem like it's gonna fall out (and I managed to drop it while I was walking around -and the phone didn't budge out of it's little holder). Keeps the lens thingo at the back free too - for taking vids. If I remember tomorrow I will have a go at slapping it on the car on my way to work or something.

just got off the phone with him. looks like we are going to be doing the final testing in a month at the united travel winter series round 3 at manfeild.
after that it won't be far off being on the App store so keep an eye out in the next month or so.

as far as i know the App is going to be called 'Tracks'. will update when its released with screenshots etc.

haven't heard from him in a while tbh has gone off the radar. last time i talked to him was new years and he was still working on it. he is a bit too much of a perfectionist imo but hopefully it will be finished sometime in the foreseeable future! will keep you updated.

I've been in touch with him Rhys - they had a death in the family and things are a little messed up by the sounds.

He also has a part time job (shock) but only has 2 more screens to sort and we can do the final testing... Maybe at OS nats in Taupo.
