15k rpm 8 speed box compulsory driver required to be able to start the engine on his own 100% electric mode in pit lane. No running engines in pit lane!
I hate the new rules I liked it when it was v-10s 900 + HP revving to 19-20,000 rpm man bring back those rules.
I reckon. If you want to take a 'green' approach, plant more trees
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.
F1 has already been planting trees since the mid nineties to offset the carbon created by components of F1, including flights etc. Unfortunately that doesnt please the greenies enough.
The cars will have very similar HP levels too so they wont be any slower, infact I would put odds on them being faster once the double KW output of KERS, coupled with the DRS and even more slippery cars, not to mention the Pirelli's will be in their fourth year so will be designing faster tyres too.
Ill miss the sound of the high revving NA's but at the same time, Ill be grateful that atleast we arent listening to 4 pots at 11,000rpm, now that would have been tragic.

They could have saved some serious money by just getting some silvertops and strapping a turbo to them though!

The main arguement for the V6 was how much easier it will be to integrate it into the car to become a stressed member.
The 4 pots werent the best shape for the cars, although in saying that, I have plenty of pics of the old porsche tag engines mounted on what must surely be close to 45 deg lol
Agreed, I couldnt live without my reliable coverage. So often streams glitch, or crash so Id rather not take the risk unless its for FP3 on a sat night
Great race btw, so good to see red bull slowly losing their dominant grasp on the season.
The laws of diminishing returns always end up playing a hand in F1, this year is clearly no different
I wouldn't say that 3rd place, and one ahead of his 'unbeatable' team mate is crap....

Mate I think he's overated much like Jenson Button.
I can't believe those two get F-1 seats ahead of a guy like Kimi Raikkonen who is a previous F-1 champ and has much better pedigree than the both of them and is proven under the pump even pushed Schumi all the way when Schumi was in his prime.
Yet now he's pi$$ing his talent away racing Nascar trucks god please turn left 4 times thats a real show case of talent that racing.
As for the RBR they don't have to win every race they just have to finish I think deep down Hamilton and Alonso no the game is up the best they can do is keep the pressure on and hope RBR have reliability issues with a few non finishes but if they finish like they are at the moment its RBR in a canter teams and another title for Vettel.
