Hmm, now you've got me thinking. I didn't pay much attention to the back of the row today as I had a quick glance and saw that there was nothing new down there. Trying to recall if the Curren was there or not. I can definitely remember seeing the smashed up red Celica still sitting there, but I have a feeling that the Curren may have been replaced by a Camry. I'll check for sure next time I'm there if you like.

Yep, the driver's side wind deflector was sitting on the floor inside the car. Looked to be in good condition.

I went back to the Mangere yard today to grab something and noticed an AE81 sitting just by the gates out the back where all of the cars get stored before they get put out on the yard. Here's what I wrote down about it:

Colour: Beige.
Engine: 3A-LU (1500cc carby).

Other damage: Dent in front right guard, damage to front bumper, rust in front left A-pillar, rust in front left door, rust in rear left C-pillar, rust in bootlid, damage to parcel shelf.
Parts missing: Both electric mirrors, centre console, gear shift surround.
Notes: Exact year unknown as there was no registration slip in the front window, but I'll update the year once it has been posted on Pick-A-Part's website. The parts above listed as missing were already gone when the car entered the yard.

Yep, it was out in the yard on Friday. I don't recall it having a saggy roof lining, however I do recall that it smelt strongly of cigarette smoke.

Can anyone tell me about the two Corolla wagons listed on the PAP website at Avondale? Are they 101 shape? After a few bits to tidy up the GF's car. Mostly the rear mudflaps and misc trim.

Hmm, I don't take much notice of the Nissan isles, but I'm sure I saw an R33 at one of the yards. I'll have a proper look next time I'm there :)

No problem. I had a look today and there are two R33's at the Takanini yard - One 4-door and one 2-door.

I solved the case of the missing Sprinter today too. Some dumbass had put it in the Mazda isle . Here's some info:

Takanini:
Car make & model: 1997 Toyota Sprinter (EE101).
Arrived: Monday 25th July 2011.
Colour: Dark blue.
Engine: 4E-FE (1300cc).
Transmission: 4-speed manual (C40).
Odometer: 264,176km.
Accident damage: Yes, major damage to left rear corner.
Other damage: Rear bumper and left tail light destroyed in crash, dint in front right guard, crack in right headlight, scuff on front bumper, primer on front left guard, oxidisation on bootlid, scuffs on boot garnish, holes in parcel tray, wear on drivers seat bolster.
Parts missing: Glovebox latch, left rear quarter glass, front right window winder.

Nothing new to report at the Mangere yard.

Is yours a 4-door sedan or 3-door hatchback? The Cielo at PaP is a 4-door.
