Does anyone here know which wire goes behind the dash to the rev gauge on an ae85??
Trying to work out which one to wire into the link so the gauge will still work

if you pull apart, the dash and the first resistor that it goes to; cut that out or just bridge it out it will work.

Its a Black cable with brown dots, pin number two on the right hand plug.

Question is, are you running coil packs on you 20v? as it won't work with that tacho without some mods, let me know and I can fill you in with the details.

Cheers guys!

Umm would need to check with Stolic on how he had planned on doing it (as he is the brains of the mission) but yea think we were just going to wire it into the link tacho output. Its going onto a 16v red top head / 7age engine. (not the 20V luckily lol) And just running dizzy setup

If your still running a single coil, then the wire is already in the engine bay,
just hook it to the coil -ve.
