Southern Skylines Dunedin Dyno night - Fri, 12th Aug

Postby SkylineObsession » Tue Jul 05, 2011 2:57 am

Hey all. Decided a while back that Southern Skylines should try our hand at a dyno day, since Skylines Downunder hold a lot of successful ones.

Theres a bit of interest on the Facebook page so far, so will possibly be a case of first in first served on the night!

DATE: Friday, 12th August 2011
TIME: 6:00pm till 10:30pm or later
LOCATION: APET, 86 MacAndrew Rd, Dunedin (turn south from King Edward Street at the intersection where United Video is, and the shop is just after the first street on the right)
COST: $40 for Southern Skylines members, $50 everyone else (normally $80)
OTHER DETAILS:
- Nik and the boys are likely bringing the jet engine out for a wee blast (old video). Has to be bolted to the floor now!
- Might give out prizes for some cars if we can find some businesses to support this idea, unsure as for what categories though (highest hp, lowest hp, shiniest wheels etc etc?).
- Please behave yourselves on the night - especially since there is a Police station literally right across the road!
- Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=214530448588112

Hard to know how much advertising to do. Got a feeling we may be doing too much (gonna make a a flyer and print about ten off for around Dunedin) - but if thats the case we'll just have to have another dyno day a month or two later!

Pretty much just turn up, pay the money and sign a disclaimer form or whatever it is and then wait until its your turn for the run. :)
Then Nik or someone will back your car onto the dyno and see what its putting down.
