i was actually including travel distance to tyre shop in my calculation. :lol:

Correct, tyre usage for me is due to burnouts :lol: Generally if you're nice on the go pedal things should be fine.

If you do end up getting a soarer I have a set of 2000km old kyb struts and stock height springs for the right price (less than trade new).

If its a well-used one you can also have problems with the way the door handle is mounted - its quite weak, and with older hinges you can end up pulling the thread out of the handle mount. \

Plenty of easyish mods make them better - like going to LS400 caliper/rotors.

Celsior with 1UZ-FE I used get something like 14 Litres consumption per 100km on 98 Octane. This is combination of city and motorway driving. With open roads this could possibly fall to like 12.5 to 13 Litres per 100 km.
