What would happen if i ran my 2L plus turbo on 15-20+psi on a 50/50 mix of used engine oil and diesel?

The environmentalists will get upset because you're burning oil instead of pouring it on the weeds in the garden.
The government will get upset because you're burning a fuel with no tax on it.
Being a Toyota it'll get a BHG then the head will crack (joke haha).

Crack it, then post back.

Would be interested to know, if you do decide to give it a go, Try mixing it together first out of the tank (to see if it'll actually mix) then put it in with a full tank.

id have thought that the particles of metal if any from the used oil would ruin the injectors?

I'd assume you need to filter the used engine oil before hand?

Also wouldn't some engine oil have additive to clean the engine of buildup, surely that would have a bad effect on injectors and rubber lines?

You can process used engine oil to make proper diesel via hydrocracking process.

You will need to distil the used engine oil to make it safe for engine (if you care about it in long term).

Both processes are very energy consuming. It is much cheaper just to poor oil in the ground

probably similar filtration as required to ATF to burn it. filter thru some denim then run it thru some fuel filters

We have had a case when someone has come in and said they cant turn their car off.. Ended up being the turbo had gone and it was putting oil into the engine and burning it, had to stall it to turn it off in the end

got a mate that runs his td27 terrano on conola oil (unused) gets it free from his work, and it goes sweet as. pre-heats the oil somehow.

see this with heavy diesels very regularly,
bad enough that they cannot be stalled or shut off, shed clutches trying to stall until they eventually Chernobyl,
